‘If you don’t know where you’re going, any road will take you there!’
Where are you headed right now? I sometimes find myself drifting off – watching television for far too long – oh where has the time gone? Or browsing the Internet for far too long – oh, it’s time for class already?
‘Philosophy is critical thought!’
Don’t live life just to live life, one day you will die and there would have been no point to it all! Do you want to be rich someday or perhaps be sexy and attractive? Do you want to impact the world or do you just want to be a bystander that dies with no impact? By not knowing which road to go down, you will ultimately reach down to nowhere!
‘to get to where you want to be, you must first know where you want to be!’
~’Philosophy is critical thought!’
Think about it. Think deeply about life and expand your mind! Learn about others’ perspectives and learn about the truths in the world! Maybe there aren’t any truths, you won’t know unless you think deeply about things!
What issue has not been solved by philosophy? philosophy is the greatest subject of all! ‘With it all knowledge flows from!’ What is any subject you learn but a branch of applied philosophy?
Think deeply about the world and expand your mind!

I think philosophy is critical thought. I think thought is extremely important. Thought is necessary to to help us thrive. People focus on the emotions too much. Facts and thinking should be the most important thing in most decisions.

This blog sparked my interest because I never really thought of philosophy as a branch to all other subjects but i guess in a sense that is true. However mostly focusing on the thought of “Where are we headed right now?” I feel like I focus a lot on this question as a college student because I am not really sure what is ahead for me. I am nervous about getting a job in this economy as I feel most college students are. So taking time to look over my life and what my college career is for is always time well spent. I am glad that I have a road set out for myself but not knowing what is waiting for me at the end of the road is always nerve-racking.

Awesome! I’m finding a lot of similar posts about philosophy and it’s very intriguing! I think an understanding of where you are and where you want to go is vital to one’s success, especially at our age. Being in college, we’re still trying to find ourselves and in the journey of it all- I’m sure we will all find out interesting things about the world in which we live and ourselves! Great post!
